A taste of Americana...hand appliqué a bouquet of lovely wildflowers. Suitable for stitching to a tote, a garment or a pillow top. Learn simplified, no-nonsense techniques for perfection stitching with quick templates and easy methods for making bias stems. Discover exciting fabric choices for color and texture.

Provided for you: template ready pattern, needles, appliqué pins and thread

You need to bring: thimble, pin cushion, white marking pencil, mechanical lead pencil, scissors (embroidery-type and paper cutting), sandpaper board*, fat quarter for background fabric, or a tote or jacket.
Fabrics: Colorful assortment of fabric; e.g., two color prints (tone on tone), large tropical prints, hand-dyed or hand painted fabrics, lush greens for leaves, browns for stems, and a variety of flower colors.

*For those who don't know, a sandpaper board is simply a small piece of fine sandpaper adhered to a piece of plywood, foamcore, old clip board or manila folder. Its purpose is to keep your fabric from moving while tracing templates.
